H&M to show during Paris Fashion Week!

Hot on the heels of the news that Vanessa Paradis is their new brand ambassador, comes the announcement that H&M will show at Paris Fashion Week! It marks the first fashion show for the Swedish retailer in eight years.

H&M will present 25 looks from its Autumn / Winter 2013-14 collection, designed by creative director, Ann-Sofie Johansson, on February 27 during Paris Fashion Week. The show will be held at the Musée Rodin, the location of previous catwalk shows for Yves Saint Laurent and Dior.
"We felt excited about the collection and we really wanted to show it," said a spokesperson for the brand.

It was way back in 2005 in New York when H&M last held a catwalk show. In November 2010, it hosted a one-off show for its Lanvin collaboration, enlisting Pixie Geldof and Dree Hemingway to model pieces from the collection.

In other recent H&M news, Vanessa Paradis was recently named the new face of its Conscious Collection. She models the ethical clothing range in a new campaign to promote the Spring / Summer range, which includes a beautiful floral maxi dress, a horse print dress with a flared skirt, and a bomber jacket.

Earlier this month it was rumoured that Beyonce could be fronting a new campaign for the Swedish retailer. The diva star was spotted in the Bahamas in a photo shoot rumoured to be for H&M. Busy times at H&M HQ!
