The present week saw three releases. Of that Sudhir Mishra's Inkaar started on a slow note and the business didn't show any major improvement over the weekend. The opening weekend collection is around Rs 6 crores. The other two releases including Sachin Joshi's Mumbai Mirror and a film titled Bandook are clear washouts.
Even the releases of the past two weeks including Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and Table No. 21 saw a sharp decline at the box-office.
All eyes are now set on the multi-starrer Race 2 which releases this Friday. The first part was a big hit at the box-office in 2008 and with more stars and style, the sequel seems quite exciting. Possibly 2013 could get its first hit with this film.
The other releases include AkashVani coming from the director of the surprise hit of 2011, Pyaar Ka Punchnama - Luv Runjan. The much-delayed live animation film Main Krishna Hoon starring Juhi Chawla and having Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in cameos also releases this week.
